The Kansas City Star has published a piece outlining the conservative measures passed during the 2014 legislative session. As noted, this was one of the most successful sessions for conservative legislation in recent memory.
Speaker Jones was quoted as saying, “What we’ve learned along the way is that we need to build consensus, collaborate within our own caucus, reach across the aisle and reach across to the Senate. I’d put this session up there as one of the better ones we’ve seen in a long time.”
